Craniosacral Therapy Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle method of detection and correction that encourages your own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system. The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull and face (cranium) down to the tailbone area (sacrum). An imbalance or restriction in these areas can cause sensory or neurological disabilities. This can be manifested as chronic pain, headaches or migraines, chronic fatigue, orthopedic problems or other health challenges. Additional information can be found by accessing the craniosacral link at:¬Ý www.upledger.com Sports Enhancement We offer a high-level sports enhancement program which is individually designed to help athletes achieve their goals. Isokinetic Evaluation and Rehabilitation Isokinetic evaluations involve the use of an isokinetic dynamometer to measure the torque a joint can develop at a fixed speed of movement. This information is useful in comparing the strength of an injured or weak body part to the uninjured or strong side of the body. Progress can be objectively tracked and compared to normal values to quantify improvement. Isokinetic technology can also be used to train specific body parts at different speeds. |
